    So you can definitely tell it was marinated in alcohol. The taste and texture was great however I felt the alcohol was a bit too strong and overpowered the jerky taste. I would definitely order this again in the future despite that

    I am a backcountry bowhunter and butcher and cut and smoke by hand my own wild game into jerky. It is a very laborious and time consuming process. This flavor is by far my favorite. The meat is soft and chewy and the flavor is unmatched. There's just enough pepper but not so much that it's overpowering and it has just enough sweet to keep it interesting. I tried the honey flavor along with this one but didn't really like the honey flavor. It was tough and dry and didn't match the interesting flavor that the peppered one has. Shipping was pretty fast and while this jerky is a little on the pricey side, it's really, really good.
